There are daily direct flights to Vancouver, Canada, from many major airports around the world
YVR, Vancouver’s International Airport, with more than a dozen international flights flying out everyday is located roughly 25 minutes from Downtown Vancouver.
There are many taxis located at the airport, use one of the taxi stands located on level 2.
Public transit is available from the airport via the Canada Line SkyTrain, which will take you downtown in 26 minutes.
In addition to the Canada Line, Vancouver has two other Skytrain lines, Millennium and Expo, that connect the Greater Vancouver Area.

Requirements for Entering Canada
As of November 10, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to or transit through Canada. Exceptions include U.S. citizens, and travelers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents are not eligible to apply for an eTA.
If you travel by land or sea, you do not need an eTA. However, you must always travel with acceptable travel documents and identification.
All delegates are advised to obtain and submit an official Letter of Invitation from the congress organizers to help facilitate the immigration process. Please note that Letters of Invitation are only issued to registered and paid/approved delegates.
